Due to General Data Protection Regulations coming into force there is need to request written permission to hold confidential information arising from coaching work.  New guidelines are specific about being particularly transparent regarding the holding of such data. You will be asked to tick to say you have read, understood and agree to these terms when booking.

This is an opportunity therefore to be clear about the following:

• Session data (notes) is kept in manual form in a locked cabinet to which I have sole access.
• Personal details including name and telephone number, are securely stored or my personal computer which is password protected.
• If your mobile phone details are stored, the name is coded and my phone is pin code protected
• Any email correspondence on my personal computer is password protected
• Session notes are shredded a year after coaching has finished.
• Copies of any information held are available with notice at your request .
• You will only receive marketing emails if you have agreed that you wish to receive them on the client booking form.

CONFIDENTIALITY

Exceptional circumstances to the confidential holding of records are as follows, with the understanding that whenever possible this is first discussed with the client.

• If I judge that you have become a serious risk to yourself or others
• If you have given written consent for disclosure
• If I am legally required to do so and for the safeguarding of a child

Terms of Payment and Cancellations

To secure a booking full payment is required.

Full payment is required prior to each appointment unless other terms have been agreed in writing (inc text, email etc).

 When you book, you will be sent an email with the meeting link and payment details. Please use these to pay at the time of booking, or email me to let me know when to expect payment.

 If you cancel an appointment within 12 hours of the time it is due to start, I will request full payment for the missed session, as this doesn't leave me enough time to find someone else to fill your place.

Communication in Between Sessions

Our sessions are a safe space for you to share and offload. In these sessions you have my undivided attention, something I can not give you outside of the sessions. 

I therefore ask that we keep any communication outside of scheduled appointments to a minimum. You are welcome to write thoughts and feelings or successes or challenges down, so that you can bring them in to your next session.

Reiki Disclaimer - I acknowledge that Distance Reiki is a gentle, energy healing technique intended for stress reduction and relaxation.

 I understand that Reiki practitioners neither diagnose conditions nor prescribe or perform medical treatment. They do not prescribe substances or interfere with the treatment provided by licensed medical professionals.

 Reiki is not a substitute for medical care, and I am encouraged to consult a licensed physician or healthcare professional for any physical or psychological ailment I may have.

 I am aware that Reiki can complement existing medical or psychological care, serving as a supplementary practice. I understand that the practice is designed to enhance relaxation, and while the body has the innate ability to heal itself, complete relaxation is often beneficial for this process. 

I acknowledge that prolonged imbalances in the body may require multiple sessions to facilitate the necessary level of relaxation for the body to initiate its self-healing mechanism. By proceeding with Reiki sessions, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined in this disclaimer. 

EFT  and Somatic Coaching Disclaimer

EFT is still considered to be in the experimental stages. It is not intended to replace advice or care from your healthcare provider, nor is it intended to diagnose or treat any particular individual.

 My services should not be construed as medical advice or diagnosis as I am not a licensed healthcare practitioner.

 The information and coaching I provide encourages self- reflection and self development and is inspirational in nature and should not be viewed as a substitute for any treatment prescribed or recommended by your healthcare professional .
